Chef Jim Ericksen While working for the Muirfield Village Golf Club in Ohio, home to the PGA Memorial Tournament, Chef James Eriksen, II (Chef Jim) discovered a passion for cooking. Professionally trained at the Culinary Institute of America, Chef Jim has traveled the country, working in many fine establishments. While working as the Executive Sous Chef for a Baltimore hotel, Chef Jim found a home in Annapolis and fell in love with the waterfront town. He began working at Pusser’s Caribbean Grille in April of 1995 and brought his passion and excitement for cooking to the restaurant’s menu. “The Caribbean represents so many cultures and the food there is quite an infusion of those cultures. Our Pusser’s Caribbean Grille is a British pub style restaurant inspired by the Pusser’s Rum Company, a 350-year-old premium rum brand that “fueled” the British Royal Navy until 1971. And the name—Pusser’s? Just a corruption of the word ‘purser’, the British Royal Navy officer who doled out the daily ration of rum to the ship’s mates. Pusser’s Caribbean Grille is adjacent to and part of the new Annapolis Waterfront Hotel and can cater to meetings, parties, weddings and corporate events through the restaurant or hotel facilities.
